I was born in Malawi in 1962 and lived there for 5 years. I had always wanted to visit my birthplace and eventually booked a 3 week stay in 2015. Luckily for me Justin was sent as my taxi driver by my first lodgings in Blantyre. I asked if he would be my driver and host for my 3 week stay. And what a fabulous adventure I had with Justin. Everyday he arrived promptly to pick me up and escort me to where I wanted to go. He made arrangements for everything I wanted to do which included a visit to Lake Malawi, a trip to Zomba, a wonderful day with children at a local orphanage, a hike at Mount Mulanje and 2 very interesting and poignant visits to 2 Reformatry Centres in Chilwa and Mpemba which my father established as a member of the Malawi Government in the '60s.

I was unable to contact these centers beforehand due to no websites/contact details so asked Justin to find out their whereabouts which he did and we turned up out of the blue! I saw the house where I grew up and recognized the Centers from my father's photos. Justin also took me to a museum, and on many beautifully scenic drives where I could appreciate Malawi's stunning landscape and beauty. I learned many things from Justin about Malawi and it's wonderful people and I really appreciated his professionalism, trustworthiness and fantastic sense of humour. I also met his lovely wife and children.

If you are visiting this stunning country I highly recommend you contact Justin who is based just by Chileka airport in Blantyre. I had the absolute best time because of Justin and always felt safe. Justin always went above and beyond to make my visit exceptional. And it certainly was! Thank you so much Justin!

“Kate first visited Blantyre 15 years ago and has had the pleasure of visiting several times since then for work purposes. In July 2023 a friend recommended Justin for a personal trip from Blantyre to Majete and knowing about Justin’s great work distributing footballs Kate was excited to try and help.

Kate has two boys aged 8 and 13 who love playing football for Runcorn Linnets Football club in the town that they live near Liverpool in the UK. A call out across the football club and with friends resulted in a whole suitcase of footballs that Kate was delighted to take out in July which Justin then distributed.
